Small seeds Poem by: C.A.B

I still remember the first day I met you.
With eyes like water I thought I had let you cleanse the monster away from me,
But you were drowning me!
In misogyny and lies
I had to burn,
I had to boil,
I had to RISE!
From a seed smothered in soot,
From the darkest ashes
There is birth.
I forgave you, and let you become my ocean,
You began to know me as Woman and not a child.
I decided to tame, my own wild…

Instead of fighting one another,
Rise, and Raid and Fall forever,
Learn, Cry and Grow together.
